Today, I went to get my spray tan before my semi-formal. After I applied lotion to the bottom of my feet as instructed, I went in the booth and began to start the tanning session. I lost my balance and fell right as the machine began to spray. I look like a spotted cheetah. FML

Today, I got a spray tan for the first time. Naked, I climbed into the booth. When the machine started I became frightened by the loud roar of the spray and couldn't breathe. I pissed myself out of fear. I now have river-like streaks down both legs where the pee washed my tan away. FML

Today, I went to a tanning salon. I guess nobody mentioned that you have to lift your fat rolls or you'll end up with weird stripes where the spray never reached. FML

Today, I decided to spray tan myself. Five minutes later, I had to pee, so I did. Not only do I now have two orange stripes on my toilet bowl, but I also have two big white stripes on the back of my thighs. FML

Today, I was getting ready for the school swimming carnival and was running very late. I reached for my deodorant and sprayed it on. It was only when I was at the pool that I realized I had accidentally grabbed the spray tan and covered my underarms in it. FML

Today, I went to the tanning bed. I laid down in the bed and turned it on and the fan started blowing. There was a terrible smell and I thought it was the person before me. Then I realized it was just the fan blowing my sweaty feet towards my face. FML

Today, I decided to try a self-tanning lotion my friend had recommended. I put it on, and decided to take a nap. I woke up later and checked myself in the mirror, expecting to see a new, more tanned version of myself. I didn't. I'm now orange. FML

ummm yeah i dont agree with any of you who say pale is the new tan cause its not. your just mad cause you cant be tan. and just because you go to a tanning salon doesnt mean your orange? its called a tanning BED which serves the same purpose as the sun..as long as you dont use a lotion with a bronzer you turn out perfectly tan. pale people just wish they were tan like me :] #5- tans fade because your skin gets dry in the winter..not because of sun damage? #18- your dumb..spray tans are known to be orange...wow..and they definately dont cause cancer. thats just like saying putting soap on your body can cause cancer. wtf.. #59- your orange. your not fooling anyone but yourself..

Not everyone who is pale is dying to be tan. I'm pale and I really don't care; I think I'd look weird if I was tan. Don't assume that everyone who isn't as tan as you is jealous of you. Some people are tan, some people are pale. It doesn't really matter. I thought we were supposed to be done with judging people based on their skin tone?

hahahahaha okay first of all, SHITTY for girl who fell. SECOND...it is understandable to get a tan for a special occasion. THIRD...some people look better with tanned skin, some people don't suit it...who's to say who can or can't do it? If you want to spend 50 bucks a month or whatever a month lying in a bed...good for you, but for people who don't want to waste their money on that...that's their choice. It doesn't mean they're disgusting because they dont' mind having light skin. I'm pale and you can't see my blood, the person who said that is a retard. I don't go tanning because I'd rather spend time at the gym or doing other things...why waste all the time building up a tan when I know it will go away as soon as I stop going. Screw that.
