Today, I went to have a pre-cancerous mole removed off of my nose. When the doctor numbed my nose, she didn't check to see if the anesthetic actually worked, and began hacking away at my nose, leaving me to feel every last flick of the razor. Turns out I have an immunity to that anesthetic. FML

They usually have to give me more than most people because I'm like that. And by the time they ever finish with whatever they give me the aesthetic for it usually worn off

I understand that you probably couldn't move ore speak because of the drug's effects, but damn, that sucks

Local anesthetics don't paralyze you or knock you out.

I smell a lot of money coming your way in the near future :)

Didn't you, like, say something? On the other hand: Law Suit FTW!

Really OP! With a local it only numbs the immediate area so unless you’re head and brain went numb which would mean it actual worked. You should have spoken up, this a YDI

One of my worst fears. So sorry you went through that, op. *shivers*

Also, as a very shy and awkward person, it would have taken me way too long to tell the doctor that I could feel it. I don't usually yell when in pain, but freeze in shock. By the time I could talk it would be to late.

That really sucks, OP. Why didn't you say something though?

What is wrong with you!? Why did you not say anything? Did ouch come to mind while she was "hacking away" at your nose?
