Today, I went to Hollister with my grandmother. She immediately started yelling about the music being too loud, and ordered the staff to "shut the damn thing off". She was yelling at a bunch of mannequins. FML

Today, I was ringing up a lady’s items; two shoeboxes. Per policy, I’m supposed to open them. She heavily insisted I didn’t. I ignored her and found other merchandise inside. She then went on a rant on how "people should mind their own fucking business" and stormed out of the store without buying. FML

Today, my mom and I took my senile grandmother to the mall, since she doesn't get out much. She complained it was hot, then took her clothing off in the middle of the food court. It took us thirty minutes to make her put her shirt back on. FML

Today, I thought the cashier said the new blouse I picked out was ugly as she was ringing me up. I'm really self-conscious about my fashion sense, so I snapped and started yelling at her. It wasn't until she was close to tears did I find out she said "lovely" not "ugly". So, that's another store I can't go back to. FML

Why would you drag your grandmother into Hollister? There's little in there that she would want to purchase for herself, and everything is ridiculously expensive. I sincerely hope that you were planning to spend your own money, and that you weren't trying to bully her into buying you clothes there. This isn't a FML. It's more of a FHL, because either she has developed age related problems with her thought processes, or she just made an odd mistake that probably embarrassed the heck out of her. Also, your username? It kind of makes me hate you. Appreciate her while you still have her, before she's just a bunch of memories you cry to.

Hollister is like a creepy fun house, it's dark and it's like a maze and there's freakin mannequins and mirrors everywhere. I don't like going in there, I don't buy clothes there anyway since they're too small and too expensive

@94 I agree with you. How awful of a grandchild to say that. I just lost my grandmother last month on my birthday and I'd give anything to have her back. FHL
