Yeah, I hate it when those random science fairs surprise you. There's never any time to prepare or learn about what you chose to do your entire project on. But for real, OP, how much did you have to not care or be disorganized to make this scenario possible?
That's some bad luck. I guess you'll learn from this experience and be more prepared next time.
Hate to say it but the physics behind gliders are pretty simple. Especially if you actually did the project.
I hate that I can only click you deserved it once. Study next time, that's the point of a science fair.
So basically your FML is "Wah, I half assed my science project because I couldn't take a half hour using Google and Wikipedia to learn at least the basics." Gotcha.
...So you went to a science fair to present a project that you didn't even knew a little about it, and hoped to make things up on the fly and that the judges would let it slide? Yeah, that's a straight up YDI right there.
You can't skate by in hopes and dreams. You will have to put in as much effort as possible in all aspects of life.
YDI learn the material before you do it.

I hate to be rude but how did you do a science project and still know little on the subject?
YDI why even bother if you were unprepared?
