Today I went to my sleep therapist; I sleep 8 hours a night, but I'm still very tired during the day. I'm divorced, so we decided that I would record myself sleeping to see if I might be snoring. We listened to the tape. Not only was I snoring very loudly, I cry all night in my sleep. FM

Dang man, I'm sorry. It's probably cliche, but find things to keep you busy, friends, hobbies, etc. It isn't something that ever really goes away, but you can pick yourself up and find ways to be happy with your life.

Heavy stuff, I'd recommend you to start reading some good books. Like some refreshing stuff. Non Fiction even. So that mentally you will be happy again, which is very important to a person's well being.

maybe some calm relaxing beach noises can help soothe you while you sleep

Normally I would try and make a witty pun out of stories submitted here, but damn...that's just dark. Sorry OP; I hope you can get this sorted out soon. Sending positive vibes your way.

That's horrible, I didn't know that was even possible. It sounds like you might have depression, which could explain the crying and why you're tired all the time even with 8 hours of sleep. You might also have other symptoms of depression that you don't recognize as such.

I've had nightmares where I've cried or wailed in my sleep. Thankfully it doesn't happen too often.
