Today, I went to the doctor's for the third time in a week for a huge growth under my jaw. I have seen an urgent care doctor, an emergency room doctor and an ear, nose and throat specialist who all gave me different diagnoses. I've so far spent $300. FML

hey your better safe than sorry, money can be replaced and gotten back, a person can't, u might wanna get a PET scan on it to see if it's cancerous or benine

It seem obvious to me that you should trust the third doctor (the expert). ER and urgent doctors are adept at all medicine but only experts at emergencies like trauma.

lol silly you! well let's see here if it's around your mouth area...hmm could it possibly mean you should go see a dentist?!!!!!... they are not just about teeth you know they have to know everything about the mouth hmm..I wonder what teeth are connected to??? could it be my ears or my throat??? lol

you should probably go visit a DDS it stands for doctor of dental surgery...they have amazing technology to see the tiniest thing...I wish you would have known this sooner... :(

That cheap. Job job on picking insurance plan

That does suck, regardless of the amount of money spent. True, it would cost a lot more without insurance, but you still haven't gotten an answer...

FML Comment Wait a ******* minute...you're complaining if over $300? If it were me with this problem: I would have spent at least $1200 on just the ER visit and the regular doctors office alone. Do you understand that? Doctors charge $200/visit. ER visits are $1,000 minimum/visit and often they don't find anything wrong. Urgent care would cost me $80-100 and a specialist would probably cost me $200-350. So the total amount I would have spent is: $1500. That's 5X what you just paid. Quit bitching. now what YOU need to do is go to your PRIMARY CARE Physician and tell him these diagnosis...and if I were you: realize that the ER is probably wrong.

i was spent a couple of hundreds on meds tat gotme sick.
