I might have stuck to the skin disease story.
that must have “sucked” the life out you
My concern is that you're young enough to still have your mother in the room with you... Hopefully you are being safe.
if you're old enough to have a boyfriend who gives you hickeys then you're old enough to not have your mommy in with you when you see the dr. ydi
how does a regular checkup involve showing your inner thighs, if not more? have i been doing it wrong?
Some people skip using OBGYNs and just do all of that at their routine checkup. But I never had my mom in the room for the exam part. And being sexually scribe usually shows up on the exam, even if not discussed. Just didn’t need to leave a literal trail of evidence.
OP what the heck is wrong with you? Have some dignity and have the decency to avoid making your doctor uncomfortable. When you have a pelvic exam booked, have the area fit to be seen, just like you wouldn't leave dirty socks lying on your floor when expecting houseguests. Be freshly showered, and no weird surprises like those hickies. If something comes up unavoidably, like the BF made a hickey before you could stop him, or you forgot about the appointment & let him (or something else was going on like early period), you could just rebook for another time.
