It's one thing to find a particular grooming practice attractive and quite another thing to say that all women ought to comply with your preferences and shame the women who don't. At this point, women are constantly being told that we're gross and undesirable if we have any pubic hair at all, which leads to body image problems, compliance with a grooming practice that is unhygenic and infantilizing, wasted money on razors or waxing, and wasted time doing the shaving or waxing. So it's important for the message that having pubic hair is okay and doesn't make you gross or unhygenic to be out there. Men who want to inflict the barbie doll look on all women need to learn that we aren't here just to appeal to you.
