Am I the only one who doesn't find this as traumatic as everyone else? Yeah she's cutting her own pubes with scissors in HER LIVING ROOM and nobody wants to see that, but to be scarred for life? That's a little much.

Where exactly do you draw the line? If the house was empty, then sure, do whatever in your own living room. With the kids at home, be a little more considerate. Op probably has no other choice than to live with their mom, and they shouldn't have to see that.
