Today, I went to the movies on a date. I went to pay for the tickets when I realized that I didn't have my wallet. Instead of my boyfriend paying, he laughed and paid for his own ticket. Then he went ahead and saw the movie without me. FML

It's your fault for even considering paying for your own. The guy ALWAYS pays, otherwise you end up with someone who doesn't give a damn about you or a pussy.

LOL, tell the 1950's I said hi! Seriously, if a date insisted on my paying for everything I would blow her off. Last thing I need is a woman who depends on me for all her needs. It has nothing to with caring about someone, but everything with mutual respect. And women with careers deserve respect, not to be treated like some golddigging bimbo who lets herself be f*cked because the guy picks up the tab...

How much respect did he have for her when he paid for his own ticket, laughed in her face and ran off. Your comment makes no sense

And also all you equal rights MFers, do your own laundry wash, your own dishes, and cook yourself dinner from now on. Cause before you had a wife or girlfriend to do those things for you your mama did it. Why because that was expected of us. The notion that the women are supposed to take care of the house still exists. And we do it. So pay for the god damn ticket you cheap bastard.

I always try to pay... For some men it seems it's a shot to their manhood. Soooo I usually end up leaving the tip.

Yea, I got one more question for you. Can you teach my lazy ass piece of shit boyfriend to do all those things? But even that bastard would pay for my movie ticket. Except I would want to see Contagion and he would want to watch Dolphin Tale.

I think you misspelled ex-boyfriend there OP...

This has nothing to do with sexism or chivalry or any of that. It is common decency to spot someone you care about if they forget their wallet, or change plans if you can't afford it.

You deserve it. Pick better guys to date. You shouldn't be paying anyway.

Go home without him. If he calls you, act like you don't know him.

my woman forgets shit all the time, but I would never do that. I guess they don't live together. In my house, I would never hear the end of it. Come on guys, you know I'm right!
