I've had bed bugs before… they are literally impossible to get rid of. Everything they are on, cannot be washed out. I know it sucks, but you need to throw it away and your suitcase too. I'm not kidding, my house got fumigated 3 times and they only left when we threw away all our furniture and carpet
You may have had a bad infestation. I lived through one that hadn't gotten bad because I caught it early. A new bed and a fumigation did the trick for me, as well as washing all of my clothes and drying them. The heat from the dryer is what kills them. OP may be able to get away with the same if she gets rid of her suitcases.
Catching it early is the trick. I dealt with mine early and it only took one fumigation, a friend didn't take action for over a month and he had to do several treatments.
Not impossible, just expensive. Extreme heat is the best way to go. It costs like $900, but there's this service where they seal off your house and use this sort of giant blow dryer doohickey to heat your entire house up to about 120 degrees. All them bitches are dead within half an hour!
Extreme heat? In that case the only possible FML worthy solution is to burn the place down, just to be sure.
You're going to have to get rid of all of the clothing and suitcases you brought with you. Just get one or two new outfits and a small suitcase to get you through. If you bring your old stuff to a new hotel, wrap them tightly in big garbage bags BEFORE entering your room. When you get in the room, check the bed and floor for bed bugs. The little bastards leave blood stains and molt on the mattress, mostly in the folds on the edges.
maybe get a new dress?
Oh FYL OP. Be sure to put all your clothes in the dryer before you come home and throw out anything and everything that can be replaced. The last thing you want to do is bring them home with you. And be sure to report that hotel so others will know before they have to endure the same thing. Best wishes!
After you wash everything out put it all in sealed garbage bags, I'd even double bag them, so they suffocate and go and buy some new clothes. Check out of your hotel and leave the sealed bags in your car. If you're concerned maybe go to a clinic and get some medical advice. Remember to report the hotel to the local health authority, and if possible I'd photograph evidence of them as well. Leave the clothes in a bag for at least a week and then wash them in extremely hot water and with bleach if possible. Leave them separated not in your house, so on your patio or in your garage. Take care hope it all works out.
It takes a year for them to suffocate..better to just throw everything out or heat treat it.
You poor soul! Nothing ruins a great trip like bed bugs. I hope it worked out!
Ydi for going to a hotel ghetto enough to have bed bugs
That awkward moment when it was a five star hotel and you're a presumptuous dick
Gross. Just throw everything away. Or there is a possibility you will take them home.

Make sure you wash everything you own and throw away what you absolutely don't need. The only thing that could make your situation worse is if you brought them home or to the wedding with you.
Have you reported the hotel?? That'd be my first move right before getting the hell away and checking Hotwire.com Congrats to your cousin though.
