That's pretty pathetic .... how do you forget your own mothers birthday...
I like how all these comments are about how OP is an asshole for forgetting her mom's birthday, but how about the mom's reaction? Silent treatment and slamming the door because her daughter forgot something (even if it is a birthday)? Sounds like a 12-year-old drama queen who needs to grow up. Yes, it sucks and I'm sorry her daughter forgot, and it is lame that she has to look on Facebook to remember, but consider both sides here.
Why do people need Facebook to remember people's birthdays,especially your moms?
