Today, I woke up hungover and thirsty, I found a glass of water next to the sink, filled it up with more water, chugged it and went back to bed. I woke up an hour later to my best friend telling me she thought she lost her contacts. They were in a glass next to the sink. I ate her contacts. FML

I would never drink out of a glass that already was filled with water, especially after a night of drinking with no way to know what the glass contains other than water. Is it normal to even put contacts in a glass of water? I thought that you were only supposed to put them in their containers with the saline solution.

I hate to bring out my ten year old self, but ewww! Why oh why couldn't you have just gotten yourself a new glass? I always assume someone's spit or back washed in a cup and I get my own. Even hungover, I have that much sense to get my own glass and what not. I don't think contacts go in glasses of water though... But even still. On the bright side, contacts can be replaced.

She probs kept them in the glass, as she was probs expecting to return home that night to her container, but she obviously didn't. And water was to stop them from getting dehydrated and unwearable.

Oh look, I'm thirsty. There's a bowl of water on the floor! I'll go drink it.. but.. wait a minute! It's next to a bowl of catfood.. Perhaps 'thinking' would be ideal in this situation :P
