Today, in a desperate attempt to get my business "out there", I dropped a few of my cards on a station floor. I got a call, even a quote. A $500 fine from the transit for public littering. FML

How stupid are you? Are you in the habit of reading trash? No, and neither is anyone else. Your plan was idiotic, and you got exactly what you deserved - no new customers, and $500 out of your pocket.

You should have tried saying that you were just handing them out, and it was other people who just dropped them.

Put your cards in businesses, and I drop them in the gas station cc app holders =)

Like anyone Is gonna pick a nasty, trod upon, filthy card off the ground at a public trans station and exclaim, "Oh, good, just the business service I need. I'm going to call right now!" YDI for littering and for really bad marketing.

Businesses should rely on hearsay rather than card spam.

If your idea of marketing is dropping business cards at a station... you're clearly not cut out to be an entrepreneur.

Yeah, that is certainly the best method. Rather than simply handing out business cards in a possibly busy area, you decide it would be best to drop them around where other trash may possibly reside to little notice of bystanders. Foolproof, man.

y would u put them on the ground first of all no body would actually pick it up and second of all your retarded if u actually payed that fine because there is no way they could prove that u dropped the cards on the ground

So you've never heard of security cameras, then?

Let me guess the business you are in: Marketing? Public Relations. No, no, wait, I've got it. You're a chiropractor and you treat chronic back pain, long sightedness, OCD related to germs and the fear of travelling in trains.
