Today, in college, we were asked at what age girls tend to become physically attractive. Wrongly thinking the answer was in relation to puberty, I said, "Umm... 11 or 12?" Now everyone thinks I'm some kind of pedophile. FML

I agree with the guy above me. The brain isn't fully developed until someone reaches their early or mid twenties. Sure, the body is fully developed at 18, and for most even sooner than that, but... brain-wise? Nah.

Even the body doesn't finish growing until 21. Yes, that includes boobs. It's obviously slower then though...you probably only gain a few cms height in the last couple of years.

I'm honestly not much of a looker, but my boyfriend thinks I'm pretty, so whatever. Looks really are subjective and different people will find different characteristics attractive.

Reminds me of a study I read on attractiveness. While it is somewhat subjective, most people tend to find certain characteristics attractive more than others. Like facial symmetry, for instance. What I also found interesting, is that in a double-blind study, most people were actually attracted to people that did not match what they thought they "wanted in a partner".

This is a really late response, but you're absolutely right. Attractiveness is subjective. What I meant was that when people "become attractive" varies a lot, and some people never find certain people attractive at all. There is always someone that will find another person beautiful regardless of "objective beauty". I'm sorry if I didn't phrase my original comment well, because that wasn't what I was trying to refer to at all...and reading it over I realized it kinda sounded mean. What I meant to say was that the professor's question was really messed up and invalid in general.
