Today, it’s been a week since I arrived in Cuba. Gustav came to visit us. Now it’s Hannah’s turn. Ike and Josephine want to come and say hi too. They’re not friends of ours, but rather the next cyclones that may pass by the island. FML

Had a similar experience vacationing in Florida back in 05. Stuck in our hotel for most of the trip.

We get several hurricanes and tropical depressions in quick succession all the time. It is a bit unusual for a couple to hit the same land mass all at once, but that isn't what happened to op. This post is also old, because I remember Ike making it all the way to the American North East, where I am.

when i was smaller there was a hurricane in cuba and i was very smart so i walked outside and a tree fell like right next to me and i just stared at it and walked back into my house.....it was a very eventful day
