Today, it's been three days since I started working 12-hour night shifts. My neighbors have now decided to renovate their house. They're focusing on the rooms sharing my wall. FML

Guess you'll have to sleep on the sofa. Sorry op

Book yourself a hotel room for a day or two so you can at least get a little sleep.

Try talking to them and see if they can renovate a different area of their abode for the time being. If not, stay somewhere else (hotel, friend's house, etc.) for a few days until then.

Maybe you can talk to them about it, OP.

Hopefully you can explain to them what shift you work and what days. They might work around your sleeping schedule.

Suck it up, I work 14hrs every day and I have a sleeping disorder that makes me wake up every 20-30min when I sleep.

I do suck it up. That's what I'm telling OP to suck it up for.

Just because someone might have it worse than another, doesn't make the 'lesser' problem invalid.

52 - no your not sucking it up, your complaining

I'm not complaining, I'm using myself as an example, you dumb piece of shit.

79 - making yourself look like an ass will completely discredit your point youre trying to make, so ha.

@79 just because you're grumpy from not enough sleep doesn't mean you get to take it out on others. Now go to your room and take a nappy . I know my little nephew gets truly when he doesn't sleep too.

This might be the time for some "constructive" criticism.

Break the windows on the other side of their house so they'll have to fix those first and allow you some sleep!

Who says a little vandalism can't work? Good ol' vandalism.
