Today, it's been three days since I started working 12-hour night shifts. My neighbors have now decided to renovate their house. They're focusing on the rooms sharing my wall. FML

Guess you'll have to sleep on the sofa. Sorry op

Book yourself a hotel room for a day or two so you can at least get a little sleep.

Earplugs do help a ton, if you get good ones. And it won't be forever! Hang in there!

Unfortunately that is what you get when you share walls. Having a home isnt better though! Then you have people who mow at weird hours and use their garages as workshops. That being said, check your state laws on quiet hours. You can also go over there and explain what is going on. They MIGHT be sympathetic.

"Let me put together all the aforementioned suggested solutions and put them in one comment to make it look like I'm contributing". (Don't mind me, I'm not doing any better)

You must be exhausted. At least this is only temporary? Maybe you could ask if you can rest at a friend's place

Mabye they can do it at night if you ask them to. I am sorry OP, my neighbours recently finished month-long renovations so I feel your pain.

Hard worker! At least your neighbours aren't doing it on purpose, but it def sucks balls

That type of work usually goes on during the day. Get some noise canceling ear phones.
