Today, it's my birthday and I'd arranged a dinner party for 20 of my closest friends. I arrived at the restaurant, fully dressed and everything. When I got there, I thought everyone was ready to surprise me, but instead, nobody showed up. FML

Today, it's my birthday and I'd invited quite a lot of my friends to come round and have some fun. When I got home, I saw a few cars outside. It turned out to be for the neighbours. I waited and waited; none of my friends showed up. FML

Today, it was my best friend's birthday party. Her boyfriend and I agreed to organize a dinner date to surprise her and celebrate. They celebrated, but forgot me until they arrived at the restaurant and saw the dinner reservation under my name. FML

Today, I had my 21st birthday party. My friends told me to have the party even though it had been 5 months since my actual 21st birthday. They asked me why I didn't have one originally and I jokingly told them it was because I didn't think anyone would come. Turned out nobody came after all. FML

Today, I celebrated my birthday with my friend who has the same birthday by going out to dinner with a bunch of our friends. The waiter brought out a cake for my friend but not for me. No one noticed my exclusion. I sang happy birthday on my birthday. FML

oh man poor you! especially at a restaurant sitting alone at a table meant for 20, that just makes it worse! I once did a birthday supper a few years back for about 20 people too and every came about 15 - 20 minutes late so I sat alone for 15 minutes thinking no one was going to come! even since then, I always make sure I meet up with one friend before so we can go to the restaurant together lolll

oh man. That is the worst feeling EVER! i went to one of my friends me and my sister and i thought it was a a family party, but when i walked in the door, he hugged us and said " Your the first one's to show up!" we were 30 minutes late, and he invited 10 others... then never showed. I wanted to cry. ):

Eh it's a possibility, but I had something similar happen too me. I've taken care of everything single one of my "friends" (even to the point of letting them live at my house for free), but in the end not one person even wished me a happy birthday. I only mention this because it's an example of how much of Assholes alot of people truly are =/. I miss the teen years hahaha. Back then me and my group were inseparable.
