To everyone saying how sweet his wife is for bidding on the album: its not a gift if you paid for it yourself. His wife didn't actually give him anything for his birthday, she only upped the price on the album by bidding against him with his own money. Why didn't she use her own credit card? Because she's inconsiderate scum.

The using his credit card thing is kind of weird, but maybe they share money? I mean, since they're married and all. How can you really bitch about this? You have an awesome wife who obviously knows your interests and put consideration into getting you something she knew you'd like. Yea, the money thing kinda sucks, but like someone else said, I doubt you're really hurting financially if you're buying signed vintage vinyl.
