I feel sorry for your wife for having an ungrateful husband. Once you're married it isn't yours and hers, and if it is then maybe you should wonder at your own selfishness. You live together and both of you rack up the bills, you share a life and finances is part of that. Be happy your wife is nice enough to get you something that you'll like. Shouldn't the bank account be joint anyway? If you are so offended that she bought you something awesome.. that you were willing to buy for a stupid amount anyway (obviously the two of you aren't under financial strain so stfu asshole), then I'm sure there are plenty of people who would appreciate someone who pays attention and cares about making people happy.
Wow ... So he should be excited that his wife spends his money to buy him a present ? >Once you're married it isn't yours and hers, and if it is then maybe you should wonder at your own selfishness. You know some people disagree with the notion that women should stay at home and men should work... Some people like being Independent and like having somethings of their own. >Shouldn't the bank account be joint anyway? Ehm, they are two people that can do what they want, why do you get to tell them how to lead their life ? You dont even know them. >that you were willing to buy for a stupid amount anyway If you are trying to claim that he wanted to pay a stupid amount for it, keep in mind his wife bid higher than him, hence his wife payed even more than a stupid amount for it. >obviously the two of you aren't under financial strain so stfu asshole You know what, you are the one thats here judging people you dont know, so maybe you should be quiet. Next time I see you I will steal your creditcard and buy you presents with it that you would like to have but wouldnt want to pay that much money for, I wonder how you would like that.
Well at least you know she's willing to spend a lot of money on you... even if it is your own money lol.
At least you are a guy and she's old and alone. Her life is done at 25 unless she turns into a gross cougar
Um. What?
I don't see the problem... you were going to pay money to get it, you still paid money and got it. Yeah, maybe if you didn't know your wife was using your credit card to bid for things on eBay that's a bit shitty, but you can't complain that she spent your money on something you were going to spend your money on anyway.

Ouch, man. At least the album ended up safely in your hands at the end.
Awww. And then at Christmas, you could pawn your heirloom pocket watch so you could buy her some ornate haircombs for her long beautiful hair, and meanwhile, she cuts and sells her hair to buy you a chain for your heirloom pocket watch - what a riot! Oh, Henry, the IRONY!!!
