Today, it's the 16th day of my period. FML

Wow I was really surprised to be published, it made my day a bit better. I held off on commenting until I knew more about my issue. I actually went to the doctor two days after this got published. The doctor said it had happened because I had missed like 3 pills(birth control) in one month. The period continued for 3 months with 2-4 day breaks in between. I'm glad to say it's back to normal and on a regular cycle. (I'm 15)

Maybe it's time to go see a doctor?

Now's probably not the best time to advise you to go with the flow

You sure you aren't having a miscarriage? ??

I don't know why this got thumbed down. Some women don't even know they're having a miscarriage because it could be really early in the pregnancy. One of my relatives had one and didn't even know it until she went to the doctor because she had the same issue as OP. She kept bleeding and found out that there was still some tissue that hadn't come out yet. Your question is actually a good one.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think OP has or will be pregnant anytime soon, but of course we only know so much, but I for one am saying OP is not pregnant so it's not a miscarriage.

Why exactly are you so sure about that? It's a completely valid theory.

175- I find it funny that you know OP isn't pregnant for "sure" based off of your own opinion when OP never said she was or wasn't. It could have been a miscarriage or just a longer period than normal. We won't know for sure unless she says otherwise.

Oh look, cadillacgal is a doctor! Not.

I had one that lasted over a month once. Apparently it was a side effect of my pill. Needless to say I changed pills fairly quickly after that...

Hun....i know how you feel! Ive had a period that literally lasted over a month. i get it from my mom. ._. But anyways, does that happen often? I'd talk to a doctor either way just to make sure everything is all right. At the time I was a miner so my dad wouldn't take me to the docs but he eventually agreed to getting me birth control which evened out my ****** up period.

You used to have month-long periods AND you worked in a mine? That's outrageous.

That is not ok. Go to the doctor straight away. Please.

Get it checked when it's still early and don't let them just tell you hormonal imbalance they have told me that since I first got mine and it's blowing up on me due to their incompetence.
