Today, it's the fifth day in a row my workmate has worn the exact same clothing. We share the desk. I'm absolutely positive he hasn't hit the shower since last weekend. FML

Douse him with Febreze and liquid soap. I guarantee he'll get the idea pretty quickly.

Maybe invest in one of those decorative air fresheners and point it in his direction

Sorry OP. I don't know why some people choose to be dirty when they have an option. Just get some febreeze. You could also buy him or her some perfume and deo.

Have you ever had the displeasure of smelling a dirty body masked with perfume? Smells worse to me than someone just being unclean.

Ah, the smell of bo and a half gallon of cologne/axe body spray. I think we all went to school with a kid who thought that trick made them smell good.

It's like using those floral sprays after dropping a deuce. It doesn't cover it up, it just makes it smell like someone took a dump in a flower planter!

I apologize. I didn't know. I'll see myself out.

The only scent that doesn't just make things worse is citrus, it actually seems to do something to neutralize instead of just adding more scent to the mix.

That must be a great work environment lol tell him to shower just be blunt best way of dealing with these things

Dafuq? Is he allergic to showering or cleanliness? Have your boss talk to him!..

"Accidentally" spill some coffee on his clothes. He will at least change them and, if you're lucky, shower.

Sure, risk giving the man burns because of a little body odor. Not an overreaction at all.

Fruit punch stains easy, smells strong and doesn't burn, that might be a better option then coffee

Or maybe, just maybe, I was joking? Besides, where does it say the coffee should be scalding hot?

49, not everyone drinks hot coffee.

You need to get another job -- don't work for some broke-ass company that makes workers share a desk. They are probably teetering on bankruptcy.

I have worked with homeless guys who "bathed" using a rag and the office bathroom sink and soap. There's no excuse to be working but not washing.

Sarcastically thank him for conserving water.

You never know his home situation. Maybe he doesn't have a place to stay and is doing the best he can.

That's disgusting. Just be blunt and tell him to take a god damn shower. Good lord. If he smells that bad, he needs to be made aware of it.
