Today, it was report card day at swimming lessons. Because it was the last day, a little girl brought me flowers. She was the only kid in that class who didn't pass. FML

Today, I had to go take swimming lessons because my mom has a fear I'll drown and I'm totally afraid of swimming anyway and never get anywhere near water. My instructor? A high school classmate of mine. My fellow swimming classmates? 5 and 6 year old kids. FML

Today, I took my class to swimming lessons at the local public pool. One student came out and proudly told me that she'd pooed in the shower, but it was OK because she'd then picked it up and flushed it down the toilet. FML

Today, my math teacher brought his laptop to tally up all our scores for our report card. He then displayed the results on a big screen in front of the whole class. The ones who failed were marked yellow. I was the only one marked yellow. FML

Today, while teaching swimming to a bunch of five year-olds, one particularly bratty girl decided she didn't want to swim and led the entire class to strike, leaving the pool empty, and me without a job. Apparently I was teaching the next world tyrant to swim. FML

I have never heard of someone failing swimming lessons either. I have never even heard of people getting report cards for swimming lessons.

I pressed the fyl button for the little girl, not OP. She will get over it eventually. Depending on how old the little girl is, it could take her awhile to trust anyone. I know that sounds overly dramatic but these kinds of things can cause trust issues. The little girl probably thought she did an excellent job and really liked the teacher and then to find out she didnt pass could make it hard for her to get close to people for awhile.

I was unaware swimming lessons came with report cards. Maybe you should spend more time with her as some are quicker to learn than others. Personally to me the whole report card thing sounds absurd unless it's part of PE for school but maybe that's just me.

I'm going to be honest, this FML broke my heart a little bit, as ridiculous as that may be. Poor girl! If I was that instructor, I probably would've cried because I'd feel so bad for failing her after she gave me a gift...I'm becoming too soft lately...
