Today, it was report card day at swimming lessons. Because it was the last day, a little girl brought me flowers. She was the only kid in that class who didn't pass. FML

is it ok if I pressed the fyl button for the little girl instead of you? I would be heartbroken if I was the parent of that child. Just to see the sparkle in her eyes go away would bring me to tears. I understand that she didnt pass but the fact that she brought you flowers only to end up hearing she is the only one that failed must have been so hard on her.

It's better to flunk her now then pass her knowing her life is at risk. Keep working with her if you feel the urge. But I know that sucks.
