Today, like every day, I woke up at 3 in the morning because my roommate needs "a three hour warning" before his real alarm goes off. His alarm is a constant beeping noise which he always ignores for a good 10 minutes before finally getting up and turning it off. FML

Is your roommate even human? Who the hell decides to voluntarily wake up at 3 AM??

Set an even louder alarm for 2:50 am. :)

Aw that's a bummer, OP! I would get a new roommate.

That is brutal...hate it for you OP. At least you'll have plenty of extra time to plan some awesome sabotage!

I have a roommate who stays up playing games until 4:30-5am and sets an alarm for 2pm but doesn't get up until 3:45 unless someone wakes him...and his alarm is a blaring radio that's half static and half 2 other stations

He should wear one of those wireless earpieces which you can set to go off at a certain time.

Sounds like it might be time to do a 2:59am air horn test in your roommates vicinity. Just a thought.

Is your roommate by any chance Patrick Star? Patrick: Oh boy, 3 AM! *eats Krabby Patty*

My mom has to be at work by 4 so she sets alarms for every 5 minutes from 1:30-4:00. She sleeps like the dead and I always end up having to hear them overlap (on her alarm clock every new alarm gets louder if she didn't shut off the last one) until she finally gets up :/

You might be able to find some sleep able headphones he can attach to his alarm so the noise wakes him up not you

I had a similar situation with my roommate in college, but if you face the facts OP, your roommate is an adult and your not his mother. If he needs to wake up call at 3 a.m. that's something he should figure out on his own as opposed to messing with your sleep schedule.

You aren't his mommy. Tell him to get his ass out of bed like an adult because he isn't your responsibility.
