cats actually tend to bond more with people that don't like them. constantly having someone holding you, making noises at you, touching you, etc can be bothersome so cats go towards the people that don't touch them or baby talk in to their cutesy wootsy faces. :)
That just proves my point that cats can be assholes. My cats want nothing to do with me unless I'm feeding them or giving my dog attention.
This is so true. My cat loves my boyfriend because he ignores her, haha. Which of course annoys him and makes me jealous. Although she is very social so she appreciates me giving her attention too.
I'm not sure that's a cat. Maybe it's an assassin disguised as a cat? It's using your allergies against you, slowly trying to suffocate you while you sleep.
Get some allergy meds and enjoy the company!
Depending on how long you've lived there, the cat could have cohabit aged with the previous tenant. As to courses of action: If you flat out don't want the cat around, you should capture them and take them to a Trap Neuter Release program- or see if anyone you know wants a cat. After you've relocated the repeat visitor, you might want to look into contacting someone willing to look around the house and patch any points of entry. Now, if you do like the cat, you should still get exit points repaired so they stay inside- not just for their own safety but that of small animals in the area. Follow up with an check up for them- there's usually at least one shelter in a town that cuts prices to provide shots, deworming, etc to strays that people want to take in. Invest in some Benadryl or other antihistamines and if you haven't, get an allergy test to see if you are really allergic to cat dandruff- it might be you are allergic to the pollen in their fur. Good luck with whatever solution you have to take.
You have to accept that you now own a cat! Get some meds and talk to your doctor so you can live happily with your new cat! That, or find a real home for it. It obviously wants a home where people takes care of it. Good luck OP?
well, #19, listen to #23, and take a chillpill.
I can't believe the cat shot him in the leg!
Cats have 9 lives. Use one to throw it out the window.
Surely if you're horribly allergic, it would've taken you a lot sooner than two weeks to fix the hole where the cat's coming into your house?

And here i am, closing the door of my room for 2 minutes to force my cat to love me.
I can understand how insects can sneak there way inside, but how does a whole cat "inexplicably" get into your home?
