Today, Muse cancelled their upcoming show in Oslo. I bought my sold-out tickets on the black market for double the retail price, and have no way of getting my money back. FML

1- Good thing you said that. For a minute I thought OP was blaming me. Phew, glad that's cleared up.

Good thing that in Norway, you're not allowed selling tickets higher than their market prize. Find the person that sold it to you, and get whatever over what the ticket cost. At least that's something!

Although I know big bands can get overpriced with their shit REALLY quickly, when they're good they deserve every penny they make. Muse is one of those bands. I've never dealt with the prospect of sold out tickets so for me the idea of paying double for illegal tickets is dumbfounding since most times the only reason to do so is to avoid ticketmaster fees, which ultimately seems trivial. Plus you paid DOUBLE. I would've said hell no. The fact that you can afford to throw that much dough at tickets is admirable though, I wish I had that kind of cash! ^_^ Still, can't help but feel you deserve it. If you REALLY love muse you would've made sure to have acquired those tickets before they sold out, at regular price.

For this , I must say "take a bow" for you obviously may feel the effects of "hysteria" (muse fans better get this)

If you're a massive fan of Muse then I can understand you paying extra for tickets when they've sold out. The person at fault is the ticket tout; they're greedy bastards, that lot. Sucks to be you, OP :(

Well that was just stupid of you, OP

Quite often, sold out shows are rescheduled & those tickets will get you in. Sometimes you have to wait a bit but its happened to me... GL OP

i dont care how you got the tickets, i just feel sorry for you for missing out on seeing the greatest band in the world :'( i feel for you OP
