Today, my 5-year-old, overweight Siberian Husky tackled me because he thought that my lipstick was food. FML

Haha unlucky OP, but at least you have a beautiful dog like a Husky, they're genuinely my favorite breed, so majestic and wolf like! Love 'em! as for it being over weight though, diet maybe? ^^

He's five years old and doesn't know better than to tackle you for your food? YDI for training him poorly. Assuming, of course, you've had him since he was a puppy. If you only adopted him recently, FYL.

That's cute, I really love huskies. As to him being overweight, I'd suggest putting him on dry Spot's Stew by Halo. I use the feline versions for my cats. It's more expensive, but it works wonders for weight problems or animals with really sensitive stomachs.

Maybe for 'sensitive' stomachs, but probably feeding them less would work too.

37- It would, but you should always try to feed your pet the highest quality food possible. That way, they're not just getting full, they're getting the right nutrition to be healthy. Most commercial pet foods are made by the same companies that make cleaning products and such- it's just another way to make money. They use a great deal of corn filler that cats and dogs can't even digest well, and the commercial cat foods cause urine crystals. They also tend to have a great deal of animal by-products such a hair, hooves, skin, lard, and meat scraps, as well as animal digest, which is the feces of farm animals meant to add a taste of that animal. We spend so much money on ourselves, doesn't it make sense to spend a little extra to make sure our pets are eating healthy ingredients, instead of slaughterhouse slop?

You are so correct it's a shame most people feed their dogs trash because they saw it on a commercial. People are shocked I spent so much for EVO, but in overall it's cheaper feeding less and better overall health less vet bills.

I feed my girl the raw diet. Expensive but well worth it. But to OP-sibs don't over eat unless allowed to. Laska (my sib) was maybe once a day. Training works wonders; if you can't then pay the money for some one else to train em.

He's not fat, he's fluffy! Wait, does this term apply to dogs?

Maybe the dog is so chubby that he thought it was his missing red rocket and wanted it back to lick?

YDI for letting your dog get overweight...you're in control of the food and exercise, it's not that hard to keep him healthy! And if it is too hard for you, you shouldn't have a pet.

YDI for letting your dog get overweight, and YDI because if you keep a husky correctly, it can't get overweight: those dogs need a daily walk, if not a run. And not just a 20 min walk, but a good 2 hours!

The dog is gay. Drag it out into the backyard and put two in its head.

Wtf is wrong with you? Just because it thinks lipstick is old it's automatically gay? An what wrong with being gay anyway? I'm not, but I have a couple friends who are gay. Thy are amazing people. People like you should not exist in this world.

That's what happens when you buy large animals and keep them as pets
