That's traumatizing and psychological abuse. I'm sure the child didn't mean to harm the hamster. He was probably just curious as to what would happen. Though it wasn't very smart of him. Poor hamster. I hope nothing did happen to it.

And having to clean up the resulting gore from an exploding hamster wouldn't be traumatizing to OP? nope. Screw that. Time for a new microwave altogether. I for sure wouldn't be able to keep it together.
