Today, my best friend and I came home from Japan. Her boyfriend and I have been having an affair before I left so I decided not to tell him she was coming with me. We just got off the plane and got a bite to eat, he was waiting for me so he could propose, my best friend was standing next to me. FML

#144 it's hard to believe the same person posted here considering on #5 you said YDI. on #17 you basically change your mind and say you assume all this stuff that might possibly make that person a little better (even though they are still an asshole for hooking up with the best friends boyfriend enough that he'd want to propose) "I assumed that maybe the BF and best friend had a huge fight about her going to Japan. BF hooks up with the OP in the mean time while best friend is in Japan" That's A. Justifying the reason why she'd do it which could make her less of a douche. and B. it says in the original post that the friend is GOING WITH HER not that she is MEETING HER THERE. They are obviously traveling together. make up your mind and stick with either the side that thinks the OP is a piece of shit for what she did or get on the other side and justify her.
