Today, my best friend and I came home from Japan. Her boyfriend and I have been having an affair before I left so I decided not to tell him she was coming with me. We just got off the plane and got a bite to eat, he was waiting for me so he could propose, my best friend was standing next to me. FML

You're a person that consciously makes the choice to interfere and ruin another relationship with secrecy and temptation. You also allow that relationship to continue, seemingly uninterrupted and happy, so that the oblivious person doesn't get a chance to remove themselves from its taint and suffers a rather nasty shock when it's discovered. #17, we don't have all the details, so that's why people like #4 go with what they have, but as long as we're grabbing possibilities out of thin air... Maybe the boyfriend was blind and both girls sounded the same, smelled the same, and were of very similar body shapes. Perhaps he didn't even realize that there were two women. In his mind they were both the same. Either way, the OP deserved every bit of this. Relationships that start on lies are destined to last.
