Today, my best friend and I came home from Japan. Her boyfriend and I have been having an affair before I left so I decided not to tell him she was coming with me. We just got off the plane and got a bite to eat, he was waiting for me so he could propose, my best friend was standing next to me. FML

Today, I left for a one and a half month trip to Japan with my boyfriend. He promptly broke up with me the first night in the hotel. When asked why he couldn't have waited until the trip was over, he said he didn't want to create "false memories". FML

Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend. I told her best friend the plan the day before. I got reservations to a restaurant on the beach, and we were going to arrive via boat. She never showed. Her parents called me asking why she left town to go to Paris. FML

Today, I went on a double date with my bestfriend. At the end of the night, her boyfriend gave her a long kiss, and texted her 5 minutes after we left to say he missed her already. My boyfriend picked his nose, then gave me a fist bump as a goodbye. FML

Today, I introduced the girl I was talking to my best friend, and we all hung out. Until this day, her and I were doing great. After my friend left, she started gushing about how hot he is. He wasn't hitting on her at all. I reminded her that, and that he has a girlfriend. She was calm, but visibly upset. FML

This makes no sense. Everyone that has mentioned this before is right on the money: Neither you, nor the guy's ACTUAL girlfriend told him that BOTH of you were going to Japan? This makes absolutely zero sense. On a different note, how is this an FML? You got a husband, and you both lost a friend that neither of you apparently cared for. Also, the girl that got totally screwed is better off without you two in her life. Win-win imo

wow..your "best friend" is the luckiest person in the world. Not only is her boyfriend a lying, slimey, dirtbag, but her best friend is an insensitive slutbag...it isn't FYL...its FHL...oh, and I hope you and the dirtbag are really happy together...you deserve each other.
