Maybe she just didn't want to risk ruining your friendship. 84.2% of the lesbians I know have a history of cheating on their significant others, sadly :( . Why yes, I did pull that percentage out of my ass. Why do you ask?
#27, same thing here. ) :
I agree with #26! Why does everyone take on the male narrative as a standard? (even though I'm a guy, I find this a very naive habit people have) It's ok. Even though you're in love with your best friend. She could have been a shitty girlfriend for all you know.. right?? Congrats on coming out, now go find yourself the right girl!
LOVE IS NOT MEANT TO BE SECRET, LOVE IS MEANT TO BE SHARED
Congrats on coming out!
Grats on coming out! Now it's time to find someone better
I think it is a bit harsh to call the friend a bitch. When we know, or think, something is impossible we feel more free to lie. "I wish I could come to your party, but I am busy!" We all do it. She was caught, and since she didn't want to date the friend (which is absolutely her choice) she said "well, I'm still not attracted to you." Let's be honest, that is nicer than some of the alternative rejection lines.

What a bitch! Why would she even say that you two would be perfect for each other, if she wasn't prepared to back up her own comments?!
So you're that person who tells the less funny version of the same story.
