Today, my boss declared total bankruptcy of the company and I lost my job. The good news is my coworkers and I all received McDonald's 10%-off coupons. They expired in 2003. FML

It sucks for you, but it probably sucks even more for your boss. He just had to close down his business, he probably was too poor at this point to be able to give you anything other than coupons.
