dude on the cheapest bitchyassed plans/prepaid here in Australia you only ever get charged for outgoing txt messages, even then its normally only about $0.25 AUD (yes that is still cheaper than $0.25 USD) im gessing UK is about the same as here, and several other places. i think living in USA is prety much an FML on its own.

I swear the same thing happened to me, except the 25cents charge. It was ridiculous! He waited till my day was over and I was out of the office to text me "Sorry but we no longer require your assistance, good day." and it was on CHRISTMAS DAY! like wtf!?
