I know how you feel. I'm in class once a week and I have a volunteer job on Saturdays but I can work every other day but she still schedules me for as little as once a week, sometimes even zero days a week. She even cuts your hours when she gets mad at you

I'm actually dealing with something similar atm, though not as bad.

This is a very common occurrence when someone is trying to work their way through college. It sucks. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Companies don't hire you for your convenience. They hire you to fill a need. If you don't meet that need, they will hire somebody else. Welcome to the real world.

They did that to bait you into quitting. Try to hang in there if you can for a couple weeks then ask for the hours you need to accommodate your schedule. If they refuse fond a new job then put in your 2 weeks.

I used to get called in the middle of class to come in at that exact moment, and i was always like "no, i told y'all when you hired me that I could do any evening shift". They called me on a day off like hey we want you to cover this shift at this other location right now, even though you have class

Something similar happened to me. I filed and recieved underemployment. Once management discovered they were pretty much paying me whether I was there or not they decided to pick my hours back up.
