Today, my boss told me that my attitude to work is awesome and that he'd follow my example of coming in half-an-hour early every day from now on. I relish those 30 minutes as the only time I can get work done without him constantly interrupting me. So much for that. FML

Sounds like the only thing left to do is stay 30 minutes late. Then when he starts staying late too, come in on Saturday. Then when he starts coming in Saturday... You know what, just move into your office. That's your only choice.

Put on a pair of headphones when you are in early. You dont have to have any music on, but use it to pretend you cant hear him while working. People generally leave you alone if they think you're listening to music.

If you relish that time so much then maybe mustard up the courage and tell him to stop bothering you so you can ketchup on your work. *jumps behind bush*

I can't help myself... It's "muster", not "mustard". It's almost impossible to correct someone without sounding mean, but please don't take it that way. We all have words or phrases we've perceived inaccurately all our lives. I used to get "sneaky suspicions" instead of "sinking" ones. My husband teased me for a while about that one.

Ignoring also works pretend youre too busy to notice him my boss is just loves to breath down his employees necks and so we get nervous and them make mistakes hed steal the phones or talk to the phone girls at the same time while they are talking to the customers its sooo annoying
