Today, my boyfriend, and best friend, had baked a cake, and wouldnt tell anyone who it was for. When I asked he said I'd know soon. He met me after class to break up with me and offered me the cake to make me feel better. FML

Why do women (in the comments) act like a guy breaking up with you means he's a douchebag. Nowhere does it say that he was an asshole, or broke up with her to **** her best friend. All it says is he broke with her and made her a cake to help her feel better. SO WHAT! Would you rather him stayed with her until he was so unhappy that he did resort to ******* her best friend?!

#5........yayyy!! I HATE it when people misuse commas. I also hate it when people use "where" instead of "were." I also hate bad spelling...don't get me started I could rant for days. #9...haha fail. She meant to say that her boyfriend WAS her best friend, but as 5 pointed out, her flagrant misuse of commas made that difficult to understand. @OP: What kind of cake was it?? I hope it was chocolate. I hate carrot cake, not that anyone cares. Also, this really isn't an FML. He broke up with you! It happens. Do all the people commenting and saying "throw it in his face" or "make a cake that says **** you" react that way when they get dumped? Please post name and addresses so that people can stay away from psychos like you.

Better than a lot of breakups go. At least he was nice about it and he obviously still cares about you, just not the way you might want him to. And besides, you got a cake. He could've done it through text, for chrissake.
