Today, my boyfriend, and best friend, had baked a cake, and wouldnt tell anyone who it was for. When I asked he said I'd know soon. He met me after class to break up with me and offered me the cake to make me feel better. FML

Why do women (in the comments) act like a guy breaking up with you means he's a douchebag. Nowhere does it say that he was an asshole, or broke up with her to **** her best friend. All it says is he broke with her and made her a cake to help her feel better. SO WHAT! Would you rather him stayed with her until he was so unhappy that he did resort to ******* her best friend?!

HAHA #5. Guys - I think the best friend and boyfriend are the SAME PERSON here. And I don't think the boyfriend's bad, maybe the relationship just wasn't working out for him. He was really sweet about the breakup, too, obviously trying to make it as easy on you as possible.

i think it'd be kind of cute and a nice thought if he baked you a cake by himself and it was his idea. but this whole best friend thing, kind of screams "i'm in love with your boyfriend and we were brainstorming ways to break it off with you together and this was the best we could do. Ps. we had an amazing time baking the cake. pps. we don't really give a shit about you at all we're just pretending."
