Today, my boyfriend, and best friend, had baked a cake, and wouldnt tell anyone who it was for. When I asked he said I'd know soon. He met me after class to break up with me and offered me the cake to make me feel better. FML

Why do women (in the comments) act like a guy breaking up with you means he's a douchebag. Nowhere does it say that he was an asshole, or broke up with her to **** her best friend. All it says is he broke with her and made her a cake to help her feel better. SO WHAT! Would you rather him stayed with her until he was so unhappy that he did resort to ******* her best friend?!

#15: I agree. This goes back to the double standard, if a girl dumps a guy, everyone assumes it was his fault anyway. And if he dumps her, he's a player or whatever. I'd... be very cautious of the cake's ingredients. Especially after the story about the boy who taped his girlfriend her TV shows, made her brownies, and at the end was a video of some other chick sucking him off, spitting his semen into the bowl of mix, and him saying "you have just been dumped."

I don't get why everyone is saying the boyfriend is horrible... there are far, far worse ways to break up with someone than giving them cake! But still, break-up is ALWAYS crap for the person being broken up with, however it happens, so OP, I'm sorry. That does suck.

all those who are being an ass the guy, you are all ****** up and probably are just too immature to think about the actuality here. the guy doesnt like her anymore. what is he supposed to do. at least he dumped her in a nice way. he also waited until after class. this person is stupid for thinking this was an fml moment and even more stupid to post it on a saturday....umm duh, no school. also this person needs a life, i bet she is causing hell for him even though he did nothing but care for up until the very moment of the end of their relationship. to the guy, RIGHT ON!!!!!!!
