Today, my boyfriend and I had breakfast with his grandmother. She told him how I'm prettier than "that Mexican" he'd brought home for dinner last week. We had dinner with her last week, and I'm that same Mexican. She then went on to how Mexicans are what's wrong with the economy. FML

Today, I showed up at my boyfriend's work to surprise him by speaking in Spanish, his first language. I've been taking classes secretly. He smiled, kissed me, and then finished telling his friend, in Spanish, that I'm boring and ugly but he's got nothing better going on. FML

Why do people think it's racist to say Mexicans are ******* up the economy? Obviously she isn't talking about legal, documented citizens. Illegals, mainly from the NATION, NOT RACE, of Mexico, are indeed ******* up our economy. Have been.
