Today, my boyfriend and I were driving back to college. He broke up with me 2 hours into the 3 hour drive. I had to sit in the car with him for the last hour. FML

How can people possibly think she deserved it?

That's when you start flipping off everyone you pass on the road while he's driving, then they take down his license plate number and beat his sorry ass later.

Not rating, because it depends on why he broke you up.

Halfway through the second hour id be like," so hows it going." but thats just me

#63: Yes, really. Without honor in yourself, what are you?... That's right, someone's bitch. You wanna boo-hoo about how you were "stuck" in a situation you had 50% responsibility for / over, you are a cry-baby. This wasn't an airplane, you weren't "stuck", and if it was I'm betting this girl (or boy possibly) wouldn't even have asked to switch seats. Also, we have no idea what led up to this break-up. I'm guessing it was a 2 hour fight resulting in the sudden break-up. We can't say who is at fault, but we can definitely say who had the upper hand. You make yourself look weak and useless when you cannot remove yourself from ANY situation at ANY point in your life. This is just my opinion, and understand I may be one of the very few with it.

The thing with these FMLs is that you don't get the full story of what happened so we don't know whether you deserved it or he was being a prick.

#58 shut up i hate pathetic drama queens such as yourself and as for my opinion on the FML i honestly dont think its a bad thing on his part i mean atleast he was giving you a chance to ask him why so you could have some resolution it just wasnt meant to be

Blanket of stupidity over all the comments, sorry to the few who actually had good points, and I don't think many people understand the point of this site

I see where you're coming from, #58/75, but I think making him stop the car so she could get out would make her look like a temper-tantruming girly girl, not a strong woman. It seems to me like this was just one of those situations where you deal with the awkwardness for an hour, and then once you're back on campus you can prove your strong woman-ness by not needing him for anything ever again. Not a feminist, myself, but I do see what you mean. It's no fun to let someone else have the upper hand.

#77, I completely agree with your latter statement, but isn't it counterproductive to sink to name calling if you hate drama? Some of the comments on this FML are straying from the point...

I hope he doesn't get a ride back..... :D

#79: Acceptable solution, you are rational, I like that. Only thing is... hey. It's over, **** what he thinks. I'd still say "Pull the car over, I want to get out." No matter how irrational they think I'm acting.
