Today, my boyfriend and I were driving back to college. He broke up with me 2 hours into the 3 hour drive. I had to sit in the car with him for the last hour. FML

I broke up with a boyfriend while we were in the airport inbetween flights. He started to talk about "taking our relationship to the next level". I was planning on breaking up with him as soon as he dropped me off. I dumped him because I didn't want to string him along for even another couple hours. We had to sit next to each other for three hours, and he was my ride back to campus. It was awkward. When you're in that situation, there's no unawkward way about it. Oh, and by the way, "Pull over, I'm getting out"? Um, where? On the side of the road? That's stupid.
