Uh...how does that not make sense? If he had broke up with her BEFORE she turned down the opportunity, she wouldn't have turned it down, because she would have known that they wouldn't stay together! But, in fact, he broke up with her AFTER she said no to the job opportunity. Comprende?

...sorry, lady, but situations like these are not when you are supposed to act on a whim. make sure you put your own future first. you don't want to sacrifice your own stability, well-being, and (potentially) happiness to be with someone. yes, you did think that this person made you happy, but there's no permanence there. gotta look at all your options. :] |the kid|

That's what you get when you make important life decisions over a boyfriend. It would be one thing if he was your husband, or hell, even fiance. It's your own fault for doing this and not even discussing the future with this guy beforehand.
