Damn that totally sucks, but you deserve it. Why would you ever turn down an opportunity like that? Im going to take a wild guess and say this is a decision you made all on your own and never talked to your bf about it. Unless you did something to royally piss him off, he would've told you to take the job. It would've made his break up easier. You always have to consider yourself first. If your relationship was meant to be, it would've worked out long distance.

Maybe he had a perfectly logical, good explanation for the breakup.
