I love Sailormoon and all, but there's a difference between being a big fan and an overly obsessive fangirl. And it's perfectly reasonable that he doesn't know what Sailormoon is considering he wasn't part of the target audience. My boyfriend only knows about the dub, but I'm impressed he knows that much. So yeah, chill.
Technically the Japanese version was targeted towards little girls as well (look at all the girly merchandise!), but it definitely appeals to a broader audience than the English dub did. I managed to get a guy friend to watch the original anime and he enjoyed it a lot more.
Well, you're a psycho bitch. YDI
ee! I am an anime fan and a cosplayer. I understand where you are coming from. You should try help him understand anime, It can be one of those things which you hate before you understand. He might be able to even go to the con with you. good luck.
wow...vast stereotyping there? anime is just a name for japanese cartoons in general...are u calling all japanese kids perverts?
racist much?
wow, you're not a douche at all. Oh, and by the way: Hentai (****) makes up about 10% or less of all of anime.
You're going to AnimeCon and you are a girl. Unless you are a monster, you will be swarmed by nerdy virgins (and you can fix that). Either your current boyfriend needs to make a little effort to become familiar with Sailor Moon, or you ought to find a new one at the show.
I feel you there. I've gone (and am going this year to) DragonCon, and there is a considerable minority of girls in costumes there that are actually quite cute, and some that are downright smoking hot. The expressions on some of the nerdy guys' faces while looking at them are priceless. I'm going as Aeris this year! ^.^ And yeah, her bf probably should be a little more aware of her interests, but it's no reason for her to get angry. YDI.
You know, I don't think he does. Maybe they'd just started dating and he didn't know that she likes to go conventions? It's fine for people in (mature) relationships to have different interests.
Not sharing the same interests, but just have an idea of what it is that she likes. I don't think it's a big deal either way though.
:'( Aeris...
You are an idiot. The End.
He should be the one leaving you.
When you consider fantasy more important than reality than you know your life is ******.

How old are you? Ten? You don't break up with someone for that kind of reason.
Lol, you should turn up at his house dressed like her... I'm sure he will be delighted :)
