Today, I woke up at noon after barely sleeping. I've been diagnosed with sleeping disorders, so this isn't out of the ordinary. The issue is, my boyfriend doesn't think it's a big deal, and is mad at me for wanting to stay in bed after he got up. FML

I appreciate a good morning text from my (hypothetical) girlfriend. Shows she cares. Now if it's a daily thing for you to text him early in the morning.. Depends. He can just turn the ringer off for the texts like I do. I get texts at all times from friends away at college or who just live far away, but I learned to silence my phone completely rather than bitch about it.

Without knowing how early OP woke up, it's hard to say if she deserves it. However, if she knew he was sleeping, she should have waited until he texted her and then responded Good Morning. In no way does she deserve to be dumped over it but he should talk to her and ask her nicely to stop doing it if it's happened more than a few times.
