Well, that does suck, but maybe you can find a boyfriend who doesn't have allergy issues. I can also say they get somewhat better with time, as my boyfriend had issues when we were first dating but has gotten used to being around cats. It also helps that I have hardwood floors and not carpet. Still, love me, love my cat.

sorry to hear that OP, but hey, at least your ex had the decency to drive to your house. I was with my ex for almost 3 years, and the douche still broke up with me over the phone. Hopefully the next one won't be allergic to your cat :)
