Today, my boyfriend of 2 years took me to get a tattoo done with his name on. He paid for it. After it was done he told me it was over between us and he thought it'd be a nice reminder of him for me. FML

Today, I got a tattoo with my boyfriend's name on it. As we're coworkers, I showed it to him thinking he’d love it. He told me he couldn’t continue the relationship anymore since he realized he wants to fix things with his wife. Three hours of pain and 2 years down the drain. FML

Absolutely epic. Yeah, he's an asshole, but what an ingenious thing to do. I will stash this idea away for future reference. YDI, as many people have said, never get a tattoo of a significant other's name. Clearly, it's not a good idea. Love or not, it's still an act of stupidity.

Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever get somebody's name tattooed on you unless they're passed away. If you do, this is that kind of shit that will happen.
